Ziton ZP3 noise fault.

Hi guys.
We have a few zp3 panels in our building, now a few days back the one panel suddently gave me a noise fault.
I checked the analogue values of the devices and they are jumping up and down a lot.
I moved the loop to a new panel and now the problem is gone on the new panel the panel is clean no noise at all.
Has anybody experienced this same problem with the zp3?

Been asked to look at the above to add a couple of devices on , are the detectors still available if so does anyone on here do this.
The existing has got spare address slots so will wire the loop in this area and require panel and cards in bases programming

protec 6300 advice

Hi think i no the answer but a second opinion always helps.
Im a fire engineer with 10 years experiance
I had to replace some standby batterrys on a protec 6300 earlier this week but have now got auxfuse/batterys dissconnected fault on the panel.
I recall this happening many years ago on another site im sure i had to get hold of the 6 monthly high access code and go into the settings to change the psu from external to internal and the fault cleared
Can anyone confirm this

:cool:My client has a Ziton conventional fire alarm panel, with ionisation smoke detector Z610-1 DEVICES. It is hard to get the device in my place, please will gent conventional smoke work on them, or c-tec or zeta these are available here. which one will work it is urgent.

PSS to Advanced Panel programming

I have a faulty PSS firequest panel which the client has requested be changed to an advanced MX5000 series 4 loop. Can anyone tell me if there is a quick way to program the advanced panel. I have the config on PSS software but it is not compatible with the advanced MXpro software as far as I can tell. do I have to manually write the config from the PSS print out to the advanced config or is there a quicker way?? any suggestions would be gratefully received!!!

We just have taken on a new customer with about 8 industrial units. 6 have some simple systems installed.

2 how ever have odd panels, never bean maintained and no service history.

Can anyone identify this panel and tell me if a manual is available?

Can anyone identify this panel?

We just have taken on a new customer with about 8 industrial units. 6 have some simple systems installed.

2 how ever have odd panels, never bean maintained and no service history.

This one is in a main entrance and uses sounder bases and is eating batteries at alarming rate, can any one give any hints?

Charging volts is 27.1v to 27.7v of load, dropping to 26.4v on new batteries and levelling off at 24.9v after 3 days. But after about 10 days it goes into fault and both batteries are dead.

Can anyone identify this panel and tell me if a manual is available?

CT11 - LOAD DATA?

We pressed the reset button at the top of the rear of the main board, as well as the reset button on the EC3011 Battery Charging Module (even though the manual says that button is for starting with batteries only and w/o main power), now the panel just says 'LOAD DATA' and is otherwise unresponsive.
How do we get it to begin functioning once again.

Haes Surveyor Excel

Hi everyone,

Great site, I used it personally as an engineer and now have set this account up based more around the company I work for.

We have had issues recently with Haes panels that have sat healthily for a number of years, suddenly causing head removal faults and strangely each site has issues with zone 2. Has anyone else come across this and is there a straightforward solution?

New Apollo Discovery Call Points

Hi there folks,

Has anyone else found the new Apollo Discovery Call Points pretty poor?

We find that ourselves and our clients find resetting with the new white key rather difficult, sometimes actually causing damage to the star shaped reset button and also in some instances collapsing the insides of the call point. We are also finding that the key can chew or damaged the star shaped button too.

Any comments would be gratefully appreciated.

#bring back the old KAC type call points!!!! Biggrin
